Macon police fatally shot two pit bulls Saturday night on West Richmond Street after the dogs killed a puppy, tried to attack multiple other dogs and charged at officers. A woman called police about 7 p.m. and said two men were walking a puppy when the two pit bulls came from behind a house in the 900 block of West Richmond Street and attacked the smaller dog. The men fled, and the pit bulls killed the puppy, according to a police report.
