Mad Props, Kudos and Thank you’s for yet another awesome Festival of Maidens!!! Novice Tourney: Winner Edrick D’Arden Honourable Mention goes to Lord Godfried (sic?). I think every marshal of the list during this tourney made it a point to approach me and tell me about his comportment on the list. Furthermore, I was told that the fighting and communication during this tourney was amazingly clean. People were calling back shots, laughing and loving as they danced with blades. If this is a representation of the next generation of Rapier in the Middle Kingdom, I truly look forward to it. MK1K Bear pit Tourney: Winner Lord Loptr A-Game Tourney: Winner Lord Cole? Special thanks go to the artisans of the Middle Kingdom who constructed the silk banner for the prize!!!!!! Thank you to Baron/Warder Anton and his staff Warder Kai, Baron Terrence, Lord Cole, Lord Andreus for running authorizations throughout the morning. Thank you to Lady Sarah Bayley and her staff of list ladies THL Caly, Lady Isabell, Lady Morgan, and Lord Rashid! That is one of the most seamless list efforts I have ever seen. For those of you that didn’t hear, we wound up with 76(?) People on the roster for the day, and the A-Game tourney had such a large list that these gentles SUCCESSFULLY RAN 6 pools of fighters in a 4 field space. Thus proving everything we know about Time/Space to be incorrect. Thank your to Master Christian for running the grappling experiment and ensuring that everyone was safe Thank you to Warder Mirabai for running the Pennsic Scholarship, and to her staff. The day was rounded off with Slamdownfest where the rapier community and friends raised $1,220.00 for our brothers and sisters in arms.
