Madame Web vs. Cassandra Nova! The battle of the Cassandras! This is akin to Yoda vs. Palpatine in the Marvel Universe mutant world!!! The Skinny....both are mutants, though Madame Web is more associated with Spider-Man, Spider-Woman and Arachne, and has since died and been succeeded by Julia Carpenter, Arachne. Cassandra Webb - Madame Web was physically impaired, similarly to Professor Xavier. However, she more than compensated for this with her profound set of psionic abilities - telepathy, prescience, clairvoyance and astral projection. She also possessed a sort of cosmic awareness, perhaps hinting that she studied mysticism in addition to developing her natural abilities. She also had healing powers, which may hint at a telekinetic talent. Cassandra Nova is a dark mummudrai twin of Charles Xavier. She replicated his DNA, and has telepathy comparable to his. She also possesses telekinesis, astral projection and can jumpstart DNA. Its almost like shes more an inverse to Madame Web than Prof. X, lol, but Im digressing.... What do you think, children?
