Made a Watermelon colored cake today. (picture is before baking) French Vanilla with Green food coloring in one box. French Van. with Red FC in the 2nd Box. Broken Oreo Cookies to replicate seeds. and baked till done. I will drizzle dark Kelly green light green and white vanilla icing on top, and make it look like a striped Watermelon. They have a lot of that kind of melon down south where my folks are from. Taking it to a Watermelon themed Family Reunion tomorrow :) I will let you know soon how it looks when cut into. I hope the Oreos did not sink to the bottom (witch will be the top when inverted) :/
