Made homemade cookie bars. No boxes. All from my mind. I called my creation chocolate ginger bars. Will it will be when I cut out tomorrow. Have to let it set, harden a little. All you need to make the cake: 2 sticks of soft or room temperature butter, 3 eggs at room temperature, Brown sugar, powdered sugar, a tablespoon of canola oil chocolate pudding mix, ginger, cinnamon, all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and a cup of milk, and a teaspoon of Limon or lime juice. Pre-heat oven on 350 degrees. Cream together butter, powdered sugar, and brown sugar. A 1/2 of cup for both sugars. Mix it with a hand mixture for about 1 minute. Next add 1/2 of pudding mix, cinnamon, ginger, milk, and oil. Mix will. Now add eggs, but one at a time. Add eggs all at once will make a stiff cookie bar. Mix until eggs is will into your batter. Make sure your stirring up on low on your hand blender. You dont want to create fraction; to which that create heat, and now you will have scramble eggs into your batter. O.k. all your wet ingredients are in, Now throw in 1 1/2 cup of flour, baking soda, baking powder, and your lime or lemon juice. The juice is for to balance the sweetness, and active the chemicals in the soda. Lol science volcano class 101. Mix everything up into batter looks foamy. Yes foamy, but will dissipate during cooking. These is so awesome. Finally you can bake your batter. Bake for 20 minutes or golden brown. While your cookie bars are baking, now you can make your sauce. You need: plan yogurt, the rest of the chocolate pudding, powdered sugar, cinnamon, 2 teaspoon of lime or lemon juice, tablespoons milk, and just a little of hot water. Combined all your dry ingredients with a tablespoon of yogurt. Mix will on low speed with hand blender. Now add a your lime or lemon juice, milk, and a teaspoon of hot water. Mix will. Just add more milk if needed. The sauce should be slightly running. Take out cake, cool. Put sauce in fridge until cake cools. Ruffle 30 minutes. Alright after 30 minutes, poke little holes with a fork all over your cookie bar. Not to deep, because sauce will go at the bottom of your cookie bar. Spread sauce around your bars. Finally refrigerate it for about 3 hours or overnight coverd. Later serve with any of your favorite toppings. Am thinking about vanilla ice cream on mine. #Enjoy.
