Made it to St. Petersburg, Russia. The Baltic countries were interesting. They suffered from both the Russians (twice) and the Germans. They were deported to Siberia and killed outright by both countries. Estonia staged a singing revolution and won independence when the USSR collapsed. They are still a long way from recovering but working on it slowly. Interested about the singing revolution try googling it. The story is interesting.
