Made my yearly excursion over Bulls Bridge to the Housatonic River - TopicsExpress

Made my yearly excursion over Bulls Bridge to the Housatonic River in Kent, Connecticut. It is a rare occasion to see me in anything other than black, but there is a reason for me wearing white, can you guess what it is? I brought my newest student with me this time as well (who prefers to be kept anonymous) . . Today, they learned a lesson in the power of nature to heal and renew. We did a grounding and releasing exercise using the rushing water, and the energy from the rocks-- because this person has been through a lifetime of hurt and has carried that hurt, the anger and rage that came along with it, the goal was for the water, along with other techniques, were to draw it out and wash it away, so that blockages (emotional, spiritual, physical) could be cleared so that the RIGHT kind of energy could begin to come in...and within minutes of the exercise, (a part of it was standing in the rushing waters and allowing the energy to flow through, absorbing and whisking away all negative energy thats been trapped inside) they began to get physically sick. This is not uncommon. Its not pleasant, but its not uncommon. This is the body purging the negativity that has been festering and growing within. A part of understanding magick and how it works is in being completely in-tune with your own energy and the energy around you. It is an impossible task to fully learn from and absorb these energies if you are negatively blocked. Think of this as spiritual Feng Shui. If you want good things, the bad things must be let go... or in my students case, released and cleared. Below are some photos of me right smack in the middle of the river, and dipping my feet in to absorb some of Gaias goodness. )O( Hope you all had yourselves a magickal weekend as well
