Made to Size: Japanese Designer Satsuki Ohata molds fondue slippers to perfectly fit your feet The innovative concept footwear idea is named the Fondue Slipper because the production process is similar to cheese fondue and as easy as that. When the concept footwear kit is ready, users will be able to just dip their feet in liquid PVC, and the resulting cast would harden into a perfect fitting pair shoes custom made for them. The ‘fondue slipper’ is designed to be worn both inside and outside. It can be used within the home by folding the heel down or outside for running or walking (preferred) with the heel unfolded, making it more like a shoe. It will come with a vibrant colored palette and, additionally, users can be drawn onto with markers and pens for a bespoke touch. Image: Shouta Kikuchi / Satsuki Ohata
