*****Madeira Beverage shooter sentenced***** William Donyale Hart was sentenced this morning to 17 years in prison. On August 8th 2012 Hart robbed the Marathon gas station at gunpoint on Stewart Rd in Silverton. On September 5th 2012 Hart robbed the Madeira Beverage and shot the owner of the store. On September 11th 2012 he robbed the Dollar General on Plainville Rd. He is also responsible for a felonious assault that occurred on 5/17/2014. While in custody at the Hamilton County Justice Center, Hart was transported to University Hospital for a medical condition. Hart was somehow able to obtain a flashlight, and he struck an unsuspecting nurse in the face with it and broke her nose. He also assaulted two police officers during the incident. On 9/15/2012 Officers from Madeira and Silverton Police Departments executed two search warrants, one on Hart’s vehicle and the other at his motel room at the gateway Motel on Reading Rd. Several valuable pieces of evidence were found including a handgun. The Hamilton County Coroners Office was able to match a bullet found at the crime scene from the Madeira Beverage robbery to the handgun recovered in Hart’s motel room. They also found DNA on the gun, and the number they gave us was very impressive, The DNA could only belong to one person out of 25 billion, 940 million, and that one person was William Hart. We have attached several photos from the search warrants. Several Hamilton County agencies worked together during the investigation, apprehension and prosecution of Hart including Madeira PD, Silverton PD, Cincinnati PD, Hamilton County Sheriffs Office, Golf Manor PD, Hamilton County Coroners Office and the Hamilton County Prosecutors Office.
