Madison Barracks Memorial Park was just given a jump ahead with the addition of two benches donated and delivered by Mark Thompson of Jefferson Concrete. One of the two benches will be dedicated to a 2006 resident of Madison Barracks in the Honor of U. S. Army Corporal Aaron Mathew Griner, 2nd Battalion 87th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team. Killed in Action June 28, 2006 Helmand Province Afghanistan. He was awarded Bronze Star , Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal for Valor. The bench is in the process of being painted and should be finished within the week. A big THANK YOU to Jefferson Concrete.
