Madisyn was very brave today, but her Mommy was not. I cried like a baby as I was told that Madisyn has sleep apnea and needs immediate surgery to have her tonsils removed, is anemic and has to start taking an iron supplement, and has acid reflux and has to take Zantac twice a day, and I have to completely revamp her eating and drinking habits. After four years of nothing but good reports, this was not the Well baby check up report I was expecting today. After a good lunch with Mimi and Pawpaw, a refrigerator stocked with fruits, vegetables, and meats (that she will hopefully eat, she is not big on meat), good supper, her new medicines, and only a few tears at bedtime, she is fast asleep.
