Madsen Update: CHURCH-Nov 2 was our first Sunday at Whitefish - TopicsExpress

Madsen Update: CHURCH-Nov 2 was our first Sunday at Whitefish Assembly of God. Saw old friends, met many new (and future) friends. It was great and I am so proud of my amazing husband. We will be going there each weekend and are now a part of Sundays there. Shawn will be there several days/nights a week and Rob and Carol Larson Heinrichs are letting us use a beautiful little apartment they have in Columbia Falls for when we are there. He went shopping for essentials last night- frozen pizza, frozen lasagna, 2 boxes of chips ahoy, milk, frosted flakes and 2 cases of soda, then he signed up for Netflix... I think he might enjoy himself there. HOME- our house is getting closer to being ready to sell. We had a bit more to do than we realized initially and are battling weather to get the outside stuff done. The girls and I will live in Polson until the house sells or until a realistic alternative presents itself. Can we use help? Right now, maybe only if the weather is nice enough to work outside, because the a lot of the inside stuff is slow sorting and packing. CHRISTINA- I am the youth director until it doesnt work anymore, either because of the house selling or it not being realistic or effective. I am still living in Polson and loving the students.... No, I dont know what role I will play when I get to Whitefish full time. WFAG has wonderful youth pastors that I love and respect. I dont know where I fit, but I know God will show me, and I am committed to seeing what He says about the next chapter. LINNEA AND HANNAH- Linnea Madsen will most likely finish at PHS (she is a sr)- what that looks like, we dont know yet. Hannah Madsen is committed through the first semester (she is in the winter musical Zombie Prom, show dates in mid January- I know, strange title, but I know she will be great). She is excited about the next chapter in Whitefish. POLSON NLCC- has a fantastic team for the transition- Pastor Ed Vainio, Jay Gallatin, and a slew of childrens team leaders, Catalyst youth team, board members, and a pastoral search team in the making. I hope this answers questions and helps clear up confusion :) We are doing our best the chase God and his plan... and like it often is, we cant see very far down the road, but have complete confidence in who is planning the path.
