Madzimai Saru ndaona muchichema chema here are some of my notes 4 March 2012 Power of Imagination Part 3 I told you before that imagination is a gift that God transferred to all of us becoz he is am imagining God. When God created man before he formed him he had already decided that he would be like made in the likeness of God. If you are going to create anything in your life you have to develop yourself create a picture in your mind of the life that you desire. See a picture of yourself with an outlook that you desire. The destiny that you need. You have to imagine it. Everything that we see it was once imagined. It seemed a crazy thing when the Wright brothers imagined a piece of metal flying in the sky. Gravity was there yet they imagined it. Some of you hesitate to imagine simple things. Unless you break certain rules you are going nowhere. Not every law shld be kept some are there to be broken. Be determined that my life cannot continue like this. If you ask me one of my secrets this is one of them. The greatest strategy of the devil is that he stops you from imagining it. Coz even God said what they imagined to do they cannot be stopped at the tower of babel. He makes sure that your imaginations are below the standard. As a man thinketh in his heart so is he. Wch means you are building your future or tearing it down yourself. Be very careful of the things that you imagine. Stretch your mind. Aside from praying and studying the word of God how do you imagine? We have negative thots the way we perceive ourselves is negative. You have negative thots that you have towards yourself, you don’t regard yourself as someone special. Identify every negative thot that you have towards yourself, get a pen and paper and write them down. The way you see yourself. Unless you identify those thots you will never get rid of it. Even if a snake gets in your house you will not get it out until you realise and identify the snake being in the house. Check Why do you see yourself that way. On the opposite of the paper write the opposite. You cannot get rid of a negative thought unless you are ready to replace it with another one. The bible says let the weak say I am strong let the poor say I am rich. Don’t give yourself a name according to what is around you. Imagine yourself going higher, doing better, every negative thought that you have has a positive. In most cases it’s the way we have been brought up. Strongholds are ideas introduced into families, who shape who we are and it becomes a belief in your generation, yet it won’t be scriptural. That belief becomes a stronghold that continues to pull you down. Ideas and beliefs in your family. Pulling down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself above the word of God. It has to be captured and cast down and brought to the obedience of Christ. Your biological forefathers gave you a mindset they made you think the way you do. When I think of education I think about a lot of things in Education they don’t teach you how to think but what to think. All they teach you is what to think. You are not allowed to think outside that. The most educated people don’t know simple matters of life. Acts 8vs 9 Simon the sorcerer bewitched the city and made them believe he was big. He was tampering with their power of imagination. If one person can bewitch the entire city. If there is an idea that you can inherit. If an idea is not coming from God it is a delusion, you are believing in something that contradicts scripture. What you believe must be supported by things surrounding that belief. Such ideas can be found in the house of God. The church believes that being poor makes one more Godly Yet looking at scripture there are hundreds of scriptures against poverty. People are attracted to lies more than the truth. The devil plays around with people’s imagination so that when it’s time to receive you miss it. John 10 vs 26. Sadly I ended taking notes here.
