Maeve Spicer Van Hoorde! I cannot believe it has been 30 years since you, me, and Trish Foley all met up as full time camp counselors at Camp Gallahue in southern Indiana in the college summer of 1984! Back then we had absolutely no outside contact with the world except through two things: the single pay phone and the transistor radio housed in the commissary. We would gather there to do our laundry. And while waiting for the laundry cycles, you and I would sit on my Army trunk and play Skip-Bo at all hours. We totally jammed to a new song that summer, Borderline, put out by a relatively new artist we literally knew nothing about, with the funky name of Madonna. Wow! What memories! And the part I love the best??? The three of us forged a friendship as such to this day we have coined the slogan, Together We Offended Many. LOVE YOU MAEVE AND TRISH!!!!
