Mafikizolo Apologize, Blasts Zambian Promoters after Failed Music Show South African singing sensation Mafikizolo have apologised after their show at Government Complex in Lusaka flopped causing rage among the people that paid to for it. The group, however, spared no kind words for the Zambian promoters saying they were the worst they had dealt with on their numerous trips. In a statement on social media responding to the debacle that included patrons demanding their refunds and almost beating up the artistes, the group explains that the flop was no fault of its own. “To our fans who came to the Government Complex show in Lusaka, we understand your frustration, but poor organisation and the poor sound let us not to perform, we tried everything but the sound failed us, the promoters also accepted responsibility of their poor organisation. “We found ourselves in dangers as the fans got frustrated that we could not perform. We’ve been to Zambia before and we had successful shows and we always delivered our best performance. This time we got disorganised promoters who almost put our lives at risk for not organising the right sound, it was bad, but having said that, we love you, and apologies that the show did not go on.” Some fans were reportedly upset forcing the promoter to refund their entry fees to the show.
