Magharibi Michezo Awards is a noble initiative, sports men and women do so much for Kenya, they are the true ambassadors of any given country, unfortunately not each and everyone can be awarded. So any award scheme coming up for sportsmen and women is a fantastic idea. Kenya is blessed, it is a sporting nation with many people in different sports disciplines be it in Volleyball, rugby, football, hockey, athletics, motorsport, cricket, Special Olympics and others. The men and women competing in all those sports disciplines have done the country proud but they are never recognized. I support Magharibi Michezo awards, lets us appreciate our sports men and women, the true heroes and Heroines of Kenya, people who carry the national flag with dedication, pride and passion.
