On Saturday, well be hosting a Super Sealed Box Tournament AND a Fat Pack Battle Tournament. On Sunday, well have our GPT Atlanta - Sealed Deck! TWO booster packs will be added to the prize pool for every entry. Booster packs will be awarded to top finishers. Play begins at 12pm. $100 Entry Fee. With your entry fee you will receive a SEALED booster box of Journey into Nyx and participate in a Sealed Deck tournament. The twist? Everything in your booster box is in your Sealed Deck card pool! Planning on getting a box anyway? This gives you a fun and interesting new event to play in instead of just opening and sorting your cards! Minimum deck size = 60 cards (including lands) Prizes: FIVE (5) Booster Packs will be added to the prize pool for each player in the event. Saturday, May 3rd - Fat Pack Battle Tournament (Journey into Nyx) - Registration begins at 5pm. Play begins at 6pm. $40 Entry Fee. Sure, Wizards of the Coast have cancelled release events, but that wont stop us from celebrating the release of a new set like Born of the Gods! Well be hosting a Fat Pack Battle! With your Entry Fee youll receive a Fat Pack of Journey into Nyx, which you will use to construct a 40 card deck. Prize pool: 2 packs per player Sunday, May 4th - Grand Prix Atlanta Trial (Sealed Deck) - Registration begins at 11am. Play begins at 12pm. $25 Entry Fee. Format: Sealed Deck (2 Theros, 2 Born of the Gods, 2 Journey into Nyx) This event carries a 3X Planewalker Points Multiplier. Winner to receive 2 byes at GP Atlanta. Tournament Format for Sealed Deck events: If we have 8 players exactly – Sealed Deck, 3 rounds Single Elimination 9-16 players – Sealed Deck, 4 rounds of Swiss – Top 8 DRAFT 16-32 players – Sealed Deck, 5 rounds of Swiss – Top 8 DRAFT 33-64 players – Sealed Deck, 6 rounds of Swiss – Top 8 DRAFT Well be adding 2 packs per player into the prize pool.
