Magical day yesterday in Santa Barbara, CA where while at lunch I met 10-year-old Shaw Moreno and his mother Lisa. Shaw was wearing a Hawks Feather in a headband and had an Indian medicine pouch around his neck. I learned that he was partial Cherokee Indian and we talked about that journey for him. I did his LIFE PATH numbers and revealed what I already knew...he was a 9...which is the humanitarian who takes up compassionate causes to change the world. I asked Shaw what his Indian Name was and he said, Laughing Bear. I told him all about Eli Bear Behind and actually read him the draft that I had created for book two in my series of stories. He laughed out loud several times and understood the importance of Elis message of COMPASSION as shared in this story about the virtue of the HEROIC HEART. I gave Shaw my very first Badge of Honor to put in his medicine bag to remind him to move through life with COMPASSION and fearlessly to claim his legacy where only eagles soar. Shaw is now a part of my small family of SKYPE PREVIEWERS of my upcoming books to keep my books on track, authentic and inspirational for kids and their parents. Thank you Father Sky and Mother Earth for guiding this special soul to my lunch table. I AM blessed.
