Magpie - Magic, Opportunistic, Communicative, Willful By Vickie Graff When Magpie comes for a visit he most likely is reminding you that obsession with the material world will not nurture your spiritual path. The magpie builds its home in the thickest V of trees, forks or Vs in nature are symbolic of gateways or paths into the spirit realm. In this fashion, the magpie asks us about our level of spiritual perception. If the V in life is connecting to you then understand you are being called to accept the spirit in life, set your feet on the good path and you will find your true calling, your true love, and it will shine even brighter when you finally recognize the true value of what is right in front of your face. No ifs ands or buts about it, its not greener on the other side of the fence. To find your personal shiny thing, just feed your spirit and look at the black and white standing right in front of you and your path will be clear. Magpies are happiest when they mate for life and mating partners are usually together for their entire lives. So if you find yourself alone and you are a true mated person or a magpie person, you will never feel quite as right as you do when your in love and loved. Note: notice the blue black and green iridescent feathers that Magpie carries, they are reminiscent of the Magical feathers of Raven. For Magpie they are not so much magical as a miracle for the situations and escapades Magpie gets himself in, sometimes seem like a miracle that he ever got through it, got away with it or was so lucky. Its one of the things that bring everyone to adore Magpies antics, except when he Raucously awakes you to early in the morning but it is only his antics once again reminding us to look for a little magic or maybe even a miracle in your life today.
