Mahalo to all of the volunteers who organized last weekends Take Back Your Power screenings. This movement is growing as awareness is building. Filmmaker Josh Del Sol shared inspiring information on the take back of democracy actions that smart meter activists are involved in. We do not have to sit back and allow utilities and governments to force dangerous meters onto our homes and businesses. We will host more screenings of the film, however you can also view it at takebackyourpower.net Here is a message from Josh - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA: A few days ago, the Take Back Your Power team sat down with Brian Thiesen of bc-freedom to learn more about the new Claim of Right & Notice of Default document templates, which are now available for people in BC to keep their analog meter, WITHOUT paying extortive opt-out fees which BC Hydro is attempting to impose. youtube/watch?v=aN2crder1A4#sthash.Zu9sRnmT.dpuf Video Link: youtube/watch?v=aN2crder1A4 It is our understanding that the first documentation process provided by BC-Freedom in November 2012 was 100% effective, helping the thousands in British Columbia who used the documents to prevent installation of a “smart” meter on their home. Now, they have (as of November 2013) released template documentation to help those in BC keep their analog meter and preserve their rights. Their approach is about helping anyone who wishes to come from a higher level of jurisdiction, in asserting their rights to not be surveiled and irradiated in their home.
