Maharashtra to form district innovation council The state government on August 14 has issued orders to the district administration to form the district innovation council (DInC) headed by district collector. The government resolution (GR) in this regard is published on the website of the state government. The state government set up the DInC on the lines of the National Innovation Council (NInC) and State Innovation Council (SInC). The DInC aims to help the SInC prepare a roadmap for to boost the growth of the state. The DInCs will focus on implementing new ideas in biotechnology, agriculture, horticulture, public health, education, telecommunication, urbanization and financial sectors. Source:TOI
