Maiden poem by brother Sudhir Bhandarkar. Alone as I lay in my grave Memories flood me wave after wave Of the good times, the laughter, the tears Promises of togetherness, and the fears Separation not thought about even in the wildest dream Two bodies……. one soul, from top of the hills did we scream And then you found your utopia, a paradise Where people swooned, like Sun did your popularity rise Forgotten were the small joys, promises, the vows In pursuit of glitter, the fans and the shows Too late did I realize, my lowly place in your new world Was nothing more than a beggar, the scene unfurled Of course your empty words replaced those from the heart Meaningless sounds, that would not prevent us from growing apart Bolt from the blue hit me right where it hurts the most Not a thing remained in my world for me to stay afloat Her e I am in my cosy Six by Three cabin To the world known as a wooden coffin No longer do I dwell in memories of my dear, weeds mark my place of burial Neither wreath nor roses decorate my tombstone, only wild flowers so surreal!! Today is his Birthday.
