Maidie Terry McBride, 89, of Bryson City, NC passed away on January 18, 2014. She was born in Tampa FL. She formerly resided in Land O Lakes, FL., and attended Plant High School. She retired from WTVT Channel 13 in Tampa, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. McBride Jr., and a brother John C. Terry. Maidie was survived by two sons Charles McBride III (Patricia) of Land O Lakes/Lutz, FL, and Joseph McBride (Judy) of Waxhaw, NC; two daughters, Dorothy Raymond (Reginald) of Ridgeway, SC, and Linda McBride of Bryson City, NC; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one sister Winifred T. Hunter; one brother, Joseph L. Terry, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Crisp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
