(“PBI”) have announced a definitive agreement under which Apollo will acquire Pitney Bowes Management Services (“PBMS” ), subject to customary closing conditions, which is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2013. Apollo is a leading global alternative investment manager with a strong track record of growing businesses in the business services industry. PBMS will continue to operate as a subsidiary of PBI until closing. Following the close of the sale, all offers of employment will be contingent upon meeting the qualifications established by the new ownership. Pitney Bowes Management Services This position will sit in our Pitney Bowes Management Services business unit. This business unit helps our customers compete more effectively by taking care of critical yet non-core services to allow them to focus on what they do best. These services include: professional consulting, mail-and-document management and managed output services to integrated content management We are currently seeking a Customer Service Associate- Mail/Hospitality. The right candidate will be an integral part of our talented team, supporting our continued growth. This position will be primarily out of a Chicago, IL customer location. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Prepare materials for mailing including: addressing, stuffing envelopes and making labels. • Pick-up and deliver mail, parcels, copy jobs and faxes to customers on various floors at specific timeframes utilizing a mail cart when required • Lift large bundles of mail, overnight packages and shipments of paper • Handle time-sensitive material like confidential, urgent packages • Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude • Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment • Take direction from supervisor or site manager • Maintain all logs and reporting documentation; attention to detail • Adhere to all safety procedures • Perform other duties as assigned by management and cross-train in all areas •Handle and monitor Calendar and Conference room scheduling via Microsoft Outlook or Firm designated software program •Setup of conference rooms to include beverage service (cups, glasses, ice), food service (Only responsible for setting up and maintaining catered food ordered by Firm), and furniture arrangements (tables and chairs) •Responsible for break down and clean-up of conference rooms after meetings and events •Responsible for maintaining and stocking kitchen supplies on various floors. Must keep all kitchens clean and orderly. All interested individuals must apply online.
