Mail sent to Heather Brenner earlier : Please, please, please can something be done about the informal traders/vagrants who gather on the verge, outside the entrance to River Glade Retirement Centre to sell anything, openly drink cheap wine, urinate and defecate in public, use the most disgusting language and leave the grassed and garden area in a disgusting state as can be seen in the attached pics. This area was declared a “hotspot” by Law Enforcement years ago, which I thought meant that they would patrol the area regularly but alas ……. The “gathering” just gets bigger by the day, the noise escalates and area gets more and more dirty ! This area is opposite fenced POS Erf 28282 which is in itself, a collection point for rubbish thrown over the fence by passing pedestrians, rubbish from the car wash, dumped garden refuse and “stuff” from the old skate park.
