Maiya sure knows how to kick off a week. Poor girl woke up all sorts of cranky and miserable this morning with a mild fever. With Maiyas MRI less than two weeks away she cant afford to sick, so off to the pediatrician we went. Good thing too because peanut has a double ear infection and some major allergies going on :( While her lungs sounded pretty good daily breathing treatments were recommended to help keep them that way, until her immune system bounces back. Hopefully these help and the antibiotics kick in quickly. Were sure shell be back to her usual self in no time! Down around 4 ounces, she is back under 17lbs (even with clothes and shoes left on) which isnt unexpected with her fighting off an infection. On a brighter note today she stood on the big kid scale, all by herself at the doctors!!! (Yayyyy milestone!!) We will return to the pediatricians next week to check her weight, and make sure she is healthy as can be for her MRI on the 12th.
