Maize Bag Work The Maize bag was Cus DAmato s legacy made famous by the legend pugilist Mike Tyson. We all were in awe of Mike Tysons head movement and ability to slip and roll. I have no doubt that the Maize Bag was part of his winning successful formula... I was lucky enough to spend the hardest 3 weeks of my life training at Catskills New York in my younger days and I was tortured on the Maize bag. It was then I realised that it is the most utilised tool that any boxer could have in a boxing gym. In fact there are not too many gyms in my whole entire travels that I have seen one in..It seemed Exclusive to the Catskills New York and the great Trainer Cus DAmato. Maybe why he was the best...
