Majic Stick of Moses اعَصَ/ASAA Let us make it not final that this was a magic stick. I shall try to bring the various aspects of ASAA in the light of Quran. 1- ASAA Its root is Aa(ain) Sa(Swaad) Wa .Its mean is stick because we have to unite the fingers to hold that. The hurdles against the Quranic meaning of اعَصَ Mostly its meaning has been adopted from the ISRAEELYAAT “When the Moses used to throw that on the ground it used to become a snake فَأَلْقَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِيَ ثُعْبَانٌ مُّبِينٌ 7/107 the basic meaning of فَأَلْقَىٰ as per dictionary is also ‘ to throw ‘ and also ‘to offer/present ‘.If taken as the concept of ‘to throw ‘ then it may means اعَصَ as stick But if taken as the meaning to offer/present then it is not stick but as a proof of an international Allah’s Law. First of all we are to ponder that messenger Moses had two assignment /duties 1- to throw the stick on the ground 2nd- to get his hand out from his armpit. Both these actions used to take place as Miracles; the stick used to become a snake and the his hand used to become white. When Moses boxed to a mighty man (who fell down on the ground) was ordered to go to FIRAUN/Pharos why He said to Allah? “My tongue is not so explanatory ;send /associate with me my brother Haroon /Aaron after nominating him as Nabi. Because He is more explanatory than me.. This makes clear that this was not some physical action but proves which had to be expressed by tongue in detail. 2- On the second stage there are two occasions 27/10 وَأَلْقِ عَصَاكَ فَلَمَّا رَآهَا تَهْتَزُّ كَأَنَّهَا جَانٌّ and 28/31 وَأَنْ أَلْقِ عَصَاكَ فَلَمَّا رَآهَا تَهْتَزُّ كَأَنَّهَا جَانٌّhas been explained that when the اعَصَ ASAA was presented that had not become the snake but as was just like a snake.. 27/10 ‘And present your اعَصَ ASAA ;then Moses had judged that it will create thrill same like a snake. The same word has come in 28/31. 3- Please ponder with two time repetition جَانٌّ كَأَنَّهَا KA ANNA HA JAAN UN. In these words “Ka” is for “like as KAAF Tashbeeh/resemblance/metaphoric . The intellectuals know that where “Alphabet Tashbeeh/metaphoric comes; it does not mean the real thing but it resembles to that. But sometimes without “Ka “the actual is also not conceived. For example “ Asad /John is lion” It does not mean He/Asad/John has four legs and a tail. But it resembles his bravery. When Ka is used “ AL ZAID O KA ASAD” ;This is totally clear that Zaid has not become really a lion with four legs 4- Similarly when اعَصَ ASAA has been repeated two times with resembling alphabets Ka/Kaaf . ASAA اعَصَ will not become actually snake but it would be resembling to a snake . Making thrill like snake. جَانٌّ كَأَنَّهَا KA ANNA HA JAAN UN “HA ‘ is used for the feminine (ZAMEER MUSHABBA) جَانٌّ JAAN UN (MUSHABBA BE HII) With which the resemblance is being given. “ Prefix “Ka “ is also present. So this does not mean that a stick became real snake, More similar examples from the Quran:- 55/58 ا كَأَنَّهُنَّ الْيَاقُوتُ وَالْمَرْجَانُdoes it mean that those women would be made out of the stone. 74/50-51 مُّسْتَنفِرَةٌ حُمُرٌ كَأَنَّهُمْ Does it mean those person were became real assess fleeing from the lion?. 7/179 وَلَهُمْ آذَانٌ لَّا يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَا أُولَٰئِكَ كَالْأَنْعَامِ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْغَافِلُونَThey are like cattle but worst than those. Does it mean those persons like animals with tail behind them. ASAA also means International welfare When Allah first time addressed to messenger Moses 28/30 الْعَالَمِينَ رَبُّ اللَّهُ أَنَا مُوسَىٰ يَا إِنِّي O’ Moses ! you are getting this voice from your God. I am Allah the RUBB of all the world(20/12-13 27/ 7-8). وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ It is the right of every living thing that it should get its needs/necessity of life in a balanced way.. The same rule of RABUBIYYAT E AALAMEENI was that ASAA اعَصَ which Moses had presented after which the thrill was created in the cabinet of Pharaoh /FIRAUN. Because the Pharaoh had deprived the rights of Bani Israeel forcefully. It means the donkey, dogs and pigs were full fed according to their individual needs but Bani Israeel were made as contingents and were deprived from their basic human rights and were made beggars. Capitalism has done the same at present with the common man . YADE BAIDHA 28/32 اسْلُكْ يَدَكَ فِي جَيْبِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَاءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سُوءٍ It is worth to be mentioned here that this word has not come in this combination in the Quran. Both have been mentioned separately , YAD :- It’s meaning are very comprehensive. I,e hand ,Blessing ,IHSAAN, Status ,QUDRAT, Power, humiliation, JAMAAT/Group ,meal, way, appeal . Keeping in view of the Moses events its mean is JAMAAT/Group.Please share where you find any deficiencies.!
