Precinct: 11th Precinct Location: Mt. Elliott / E. Outer Drive Date/Time: 01/03/15 12:05 a.m. CIRCUMSTANCES: The 37 year old male victim was found lying in the street, deceased, from extensive head trauma. It appeared that the victim may have been run over by a vehicle, which fled the scene. Precinct: 1st Precinct Location: 1000 block of Woodward Date/Time: 01/03/15 5:00 a.m. CIRCUMSTANCES: The business at the location was broken into. The suspect(s) broke the front door glass to gain entry and took an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and 4 cell phones. The suspect fled in a white Ford Crown Victoria 4 door. No injuries were reported. Precinct: 1st Precinct Location: Martin Luther King / John C. Lodge Service Drive Date/Time: 01/03/15 4:10 p.m. CIRCUMSTANCES: He 23 year old male victim was at a yield sign, when he was approached by 2 armed suspects. Suspect #1 was armed with a gun and grabbed the door-handle to the vehicle and ordered the victim out. The victim attempted to drive away and was shot in the abdomen. The suspects fled. The victim was non-fatally injured. WANTED: Suspect #1 – Black male, 6’0”, 170 lbs., slim build, dark complexion, clean shaven, wearing a black coat – ARMED Suspect #2 – Black male, 5’8”, 150 lbs., dark complexion, thin mustache, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue track suit jacket and jean Anyone with information on this crime is encouraged to call Criminal Investigations at telephone number: 313-596-1340.
