Major Crime detectives have made a second arrest in the investigation into the murder of Monash man, Lucio Caruso. At 9.25am today, Major Crime detectives and Berri Police arrested a 55-year-old Berri man and charged him with murder. He was refused police bail and will appear in the Berri Magistrates Court at the earliest opportunity. Lucio Caruso, 49, was found murdered in his Brown Road, Monash home on Wednesday 27 November 2013. He had sustained fatal head injuries and his vehicle had been stolen. On 5 December 2013, a 45-year-old Mildura man was arrested and charged with murder. He was extradited to South Australia where he remains in custody. The major crime investigation continues.
