If you construct a dam on a river, having unidirectional flow of strong current (anti go8 movement of 20 party alliance) then, the accumulated water in the upstream of the dam may overflood and inundate the surrounding area over there. Then it is going to spill over the dam so long the dam is strong enough to withstand the pressure. Alternately, this is going to be breached and washed away in the form of mud and silts. The river will take its own course again. If you want to kill the river or stop its flow altogether and opt to make it a big water reservoir then, the entire length of the river banks upstream of the dam and the dam itself have to be reconstructed at an upper level than that of the point of origin of the river in the high mountains. If the engineers plan succeeds then the river dies. The dam (government action against your movement) construction involve the following elements : 1). Earth filling (the opposing common people in favour of govt) , 2). Coarse Agregates (law enforcing Agencies), 3). Coarse and fine sands (Civil Adminirtration), 4) Reinforcing steel (popular support ), 5). Water (professional groups) , 6). Planning and supervisimg staffs (Think tank of confronting parties) , 7). Appropriate blend of labour force (party workers) and 8), Budgeted capital (financing from both local resources and patrons abroad). Success or failure of the project will depend on how best the ENGINEER (GOVT) CAN MOBILIZE ALL THE ABOVE & HOW BEST AND EFECTIVELY YOU CAN CREATE SUBSTANTIAL DENT ON THOSE INGREDIENTS. Your movement will die if you can not beat govt in these areas of possessions. I foresee innumerable clueless secret kilings of activists on both sides and great uncertainty in future Bangladesh as a natural course of action of rivalry and revenge among the politicians. Both forces are equally vulnerable in this game. Judiciary will become vulnerable if they cannot remain neutral as alleged before. SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST may not be true in the future, rather the reverse may happen. 16 crore lives expect sensible actions from our leaders.
