Major gearhead accomplishment this morning. Tried to fire up the lawnmower yesterday to make a pass around the back yard and clear up some minor debris. It wouldnt start.......crap, frick, #%$*^%$!!! Discovered it wasnt getting any spark. In my truest OCD nature, I watched several youtube videos on the subject. Rather than simply changing out the spark plug first (it couldnt be that, right?) I disassembled the engine, pulled the magneto and was prepared to replace it. Small engine shop buddy told me it probably wasnt the magneto, and gave me a couple of other tips. Put everything back together with a new plug, and VRRRROOOMMMM! Ah, sweet lawnmower mechanic success!
