Major set back to Congress and NC in Bhaderwah constituency NC block president and Congress SC cell president joined PDP Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal welcomes MOHD MAJID MALIK BHADERWAH,Nov 02-- In a significant development,district Doda Congress SC cell President Gayian Chand Bhagat , senior Congress leader from Bhalessa Gulam Muhideen Mattoo and NC block President Chinta Shadi lal along with their dozens of activists today joined PDP in presence of PDP contesting candidate from Bhaderwah constituency Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal in a function held at Bhaderwah . Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal while addressing the new entrants into the party fold said that party has always stood for the people and would continue to represent the aspirations of all the sections of the society in Bhaderwah . “I welcomed the decision of several NC and Congress leaders and workers regarding joining the PDP . It is a right decision at the right time,” Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal said. “This would help the people of Bhaderwah-Bhalessa and Chralla in all spheres of development and PDP will give due honour to each worker. Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal exuded hope that with the joining of workers, the PDP would strengthen its base at the grassroots level in the area. “PDP is determined to change destiny of the people of Bhaderwah constituency ,” he said. “Joining of NC and Congress leaders in the party was a clear indication that there was a realization among the people of Bhaderwah and Bhalessa that only PDP has the agenda to address their wishes and aspirations.”The new entrants in the party, while speaking on the occasion, assured Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal that they would spread the visionary and pro-people agenda of the party in every nook and corner of constituency .They expressed full faith in the leadership of PDP . The local leaders from Congress and NC Swami Raj , Mahesh Chander , Thakur Lal , Deyia Krishan , Rajinder Kumar , Sandeep Kumar , Nabi Bakash , Vinkal Sharma , Sunil Bhagat , Satish Sharma , Suresh Sharma and others . “New Entrants attributed their joining into PDP to the miserable attitude of NC, Congress towards public of Bhaderwah , Bhalessa and Chralla concerns adding that the parties are only in search of occasions to ignite tension between various sections of the society by exploiting their sentiments on one or the other pretext”, they said and added that the lucidity and truthfulness in the politics of PDP and the dynamism of Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal to seek equitable development, peace and prosperity for the area, has made them to join PDP and work for the welfare of people of constituency . They informed that people of Bhaderwah and Bhalessa want change at any cost as Congress failed on all fronts in mitigating the problems of common man and assured that they will work hard for the victory of Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal .
