Major sins are 7 and there are more than 7. In another context they are closer to 70. The major sins are: 1 - Every sin that which is labeled or mentioned in the Quran or Sunnah. 2 - Every sin which requires a punishment ordered by Allah in this dunya. 3 - Every sin the one who commits it is threaten that he will not enter Jannah nor smell its fragrance. 4 - Every sin the punishment for it in the Hereafter is Hell. 5 - Every sin that a person does which Allahs Messenger (sal Allahu wa alayhi wa salaam) said about that person hes not one of us. 6 - Every sin a person does in which Allah will curse them for or Allah curse is upon them for. 7 - Every sin in which causes emaan to negate or every sin which is done that makes a person not a believer at the time committing it. THOSE ARE THE MAJOR SINS But then again you have to know that major sins becomes countless when you insist in committing minor sins.
