Major thanks to all the fine folks who turned out in the rain to pull Garlic Mustard this morning! Roughly THIRTY-FIVE POUNDS of this invasive plant were hand-pulled from Springweather Nature Area in the span of two hours...trails seemed mostly clear of it, most of the infestation is along the road so were thinking its being spread by mowing after seed-set. Looks like well be comin on back next year, perhaps a little later in May, to tie in some wildflower ID and perhaps even some foraging tips!
