Make it your own: Good Morning my precious Abba Father. Good morning once again and once again I thank you. I thank you for protecting me while I slept. Thank you for keeping my body and my mind at rest in you. Father, today, as the day begins, I commit myself to you. You know everything about this day because you made it. You know everyone I will meet and every word that you want to come out of my mouth. Lord, guard my heart today. Put your filter on even the words that come out of my mouth. Help me to be pleasing in everything I do today. Show me how to have your heart for others. Show me how to see with your eyes. Teach me how to hear with your ears. Father, block out anything that moves my focus from you today. I know that means some changes. I know there are things that need to change, and I am willing. I am willing to participate in that change that you want for my life. I am willing to begin right now...this very morning. Lord, forgive me for those areas I have fallen so short, for the sins against you that I am aware of and for those I am not even aware of. Just talk to me Father, for I truly am listening. I am listening. I am listening and I really do hear you. For a while I didnt know what your voice sounded like, but the more I listen the more I come to know it. Oh thank you for being so up close and personal with me. I surrender myself to you. Have you way in my life today Lord. I love you. In Jesus Name. Amen.
