Make sure that your perception of self-worth is not dependent on how others respond to you. If you give love and are given love, then wonderful. Yet, there are often times when you will do all you can for someone and they will never acknowledge it, or treat you as though you are nothing. Its in those instances that G-D invites us to recognize that who we are and our worth as unique individuals has not changed and will never be determined by the behavior of others towards us. We must remind ourselves over and over again that we are worth loving regardless of what or who we encounter. This isnt an easy concept because our world assumes it has sole ownership over defining what we think about ourselves. Yet I want you to understand this...G-D created the world for us, not us for the world. So be true to yourself, your spirit, and your dreams. Dont take others abuse and use it to fuel your fire of guilt. Put the fire out and join me in loving ourselves for who we are because G-D sure does. Peace and love, Bojangles
