Make sure to check out the special events happening this weekend in Downtown Plymouth! Wednesday June 19 Bring your young ones to the first Music in the Park Children’s Concert Series of the summer featuring Guy Louis. These kid friendly concerts will be held every Wednesday at noon in Kellogg Park. The Plymouth District Library will be hosting three events today! The first is a mid-week movie. The title cannot be revealed online due to licensing restrictions, but give them a call to find out what’s playing! Register for this event in person at the Reader’s Advisory Desk, by phone at (734) 453-0750 ext. 4, or online. The second event being held at the library is tie-dying! Bring your own 100% cotton white shirt and join in the fun at 3:00 p.m. The third event at the library is “Destination: Antarctica” from 7:00-8:00 p.m. See thousands of penguins, seals, whales, icebergs, and more as you follow adventure traveler Steve Jochmans through is journey to the Antarctica Peninsula. Sun & Snow MeetUps are holding “Yoga in the Park” in Kellogg Park at 6:30 p.m. RSVP to reserve your spot to meetups@sunandsnow Be sure to come for dinner and listen to Roy Scoutz play live music at Fiamma Grille at 6:30 p.m. Trivia will be held at Ironwood Grill at 9:30 p.m. Thursday June 20 The Plymouth Library will be holding Senior Wii Bowling at 11:00 a.m.! Be sure to check out the live music at Fiamma Grille at 6:00 p.m. Also stop by to listen to the Plymouth Community Band play at Kellogg Park from 7:30-9:30 p.m. These concerts are held Thursday evenings for a majority of the summer. This week’s Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Summer Music in the Air Friday night concert will be featuring “Mainstreet Soul” on the Hines Park Lincoln Stage in Kellogg Park at 7:00 p.m. Come and join Mainstreet Soul for a funky good time! These are free Friday night concerts, so be sure to bring your lawn chair and come enjoy Downtown Plymouth! There are many additional places to catch live music in the evening such as Teddy Richards playing at Nico & Vali at 6:30 p.m., Bobby and Vince playing at Fiamma Grille at 6:30 p.m., Cheyenne Goff playing at Ironwood Grill at 9:30 p.m., The Duney Bros playing at Sean O’Callaghan’s at 9:30 p.m., and live music at 336 Main at 9:00 p.m. No Excuses + James Hene will be at the Plymouth Coffee Bean Co. at 8:00 p.m., so come and check it out! Trivia will be featured at E.G Nicks from 9:00-11:00 p.m. Saturday June 22 The Plymouth Community Chamber of Commerce Farmer’s Market will be held at the Gathering Pavilion next to Kellogg Park.
