Make sure to click like so I know this is showing up in your newsfeed, and so I know to keep posting these quick videos :) Its time to STOP-DROP and SWEAT! Todays exercise is curtsy lunges! Left: Standard curtsy lunge. Start on your left foot, take your right foot and lunge back at a 45 degree angle. Be sure to keep that left knee at a 90 degree angle on top of your ankle! To modify further, use a chair for balance. Middle: Weighted curtsy lunge. Again, start on your left foot, take your right foot and lunge back at a 45 degree angle. You have weights now, so PROTECT THAT BACK! Keep your abs drawn in back towards your spine. Right: Beast! Static weight hold with an oblique knee raise. This time, keep that weight above your head (PLEASE KEEP YOUR ABS FLEXED!) Still dropping down into that lunge, then come up and drive the weight towards your right knee thats coming up. Remember, RIB TO HIP, youll be flexing a bit forward to get that good abdominal work in too!
