Make your donation to the Northwest Stone Sculptors Association on the Seattle Foundation’s website on May 6th and they will stretch all donations up to $5,000 per donor. Your contributions will help NWSSA pursue programs with educational institutions and other arts organizations, while attracting new carvers and promoting stone sculpture. For NWSSA it is the first year we have been profiled by the Seattle Foundation and the first opportunity for those who love and appreciate stone and stone carving to give in such a way that some portion of your generosity can be matched. Each donation made on The Seattle Foundation’s website between midnight and midnight (PST) on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, will receive a prorated portion of the matching funds pool. The amount of the “stretch” depends on the size of the stretch pool and how much is raised in total donations on GiveBIG day.
