Make your own world turn. In direct sales and network marketing, we have the company, an upline, mentors and sponsors - its easy to forget that we are individual business owners first and foremost. Get out of the habit of relying on others to get you out the door. You be the one that makes the plans. You be the one that creates the work. You be the one that searches and signs up for the booths. You be the one that runs the ads. You be the one. If you wait for someone else to do, think and start everything for you -- you are a follower and not a leader -- and not really cut out for direct sales and network marketing.
