Makenzie surprised herself on Monday when she had the fun opportunity to play the piano in the commons room that is part of the inpatient rehab center. She was nervous about playing as she hoped that she would remember how to play. But, right after she sat down, her right hand popped up on the keyboard and she began playing, Apologize by One Republic. She put Lefty up there too, and after helping it out with her right hand, she was able to send a message to lefty to play a couple notes! I know she is working SO HARD to get Lefty back!
