Maker Party is Mozillas global campaign to teach the web. Through thousands of community-run events around the world, Maker Party unites educators, organizations and enthusiastic web users with hands-on learning and making. Other than teaching how to make something for the Web (i.e. creating web pages) we also teach how the Web can help you make other awesome things, be it robots, art and crafts! Maker Party activities usually involve beginners with no background in coding and high-level knowledge about programming. For those who are knowledgeable about programming and IT in general, we recommend organizing a Maker Party for them to gather and create solutions to aid in IT teaching, especially for the Web. Interested to have one for your school/ community/ organization? Just fill out this form and we will help you get started! By helping you with the event, we are going to provide the event program, speakers/facilitators, tools, swag and budget we deem necessary.
