Makes sense to me. Liberals scream “we need good paying jobs” for the poor. But if they lack the necessary skills for even filling out a job application, never mind being able to perform the job, what difference does it make how much the job pays? As it stands, the only jobs people like that are qualified for are the low-paying, unskilled type of jobs. But you will never hear or see a Democrat go into an inner city and tell them anyone that in order to succeed they need an education and a clean record to get a good job.
