Makhzoumi Foundation took part in the USAID funded VEGA/IESC LIM Program event focused on “Increasing Access to Finance/Microfinance for Rural and Underserved Communities across rural areas in Lebanon”, that was held at Movenpick Hotel. The speakers stressed on the importance of Microfinance as a tool for development, congratulated the Partners for their efforts to create a Lebanese Network of Microfinance, and encouraged banks and Microfinance institutions to collaborate for the benefit of both parties, in addition to the non-banked persons. One of the beneficiaries of the Micro Finance Program at Makhzoumi Foundation presented her products and her success story.
