Making special Japanese dinner for our awesome Legacy Boxer Rescue mentor, Melanie Godfrey and her husband--sampling of Japanese favorites including: Seared big eye tuna tostadas with sesame ginger slaw and wasabi lime aioli, spicy tuna sushi rolls, grilled chicken yakitori (skewers), Japanese style potato salad, tamagoyaki (omelet roll), onigiri (rice balls), fresh garden peppers and zucchini kinpira (stir fry) and for dessert I saved some NY cheesecake and coconut cake from the birthdays last night. Alex and Melanie are taking Boston and Solo to their forever home today so I hope they are not too sad to enjoy this dinner.
