#Malawi will have two months fuel cover once the construction of the 60 million litre national fuel reserves is completed later this year. Energy authorities say the current two week fuel reserve cover is unhealthy in case of eventualities in fuel importation. The fuel crisis hit the country in the past three years, causing panic amongst motorists and also affecting operations in the manufacturing sector. Speaking to Capital FM, Energy Minister Ibrahim Matola said the government is spending 350 million US Dollars to construct the fuel reserves in all the three regions. Matola made the remarks after touring the Kanengo Fuel Reserves Site which is being constructed by Apollo International Limited.
