Malaysia has amazingly created a fair and just way of committing murder. I’m truly impressed. Imagine a trial where obstruction of justice is so rampant and blatant that all evidence and all testimonies contradict each other so no one could be brought forth for perjury. Then accuse two policemen, who are probably involved, though under orders from above, acquit the primary suspect and disallow any testimony from relevant witnesses. How could a well-informed public (well-informed thanks to government affiliated news outlets) stand for this? Well they don’t which is why the two policemen are convicted of murder and sentenced to death. But here’s the beautiful part. The trial was such a farce that any appellate court would have to free them for very obvious reasons. For all intents and purposes, they were wrongly convicted because the evidence was all over the place. In any fair and accountable court in the world, these two would have won their appeal. It’s beautiful isn’t it? Justice served.
