Malaysia is going to implement a Vehicle Entry Permit for foreign-registered vehicles entering Johor, a follow-up response to LTA raising entry fees for Malaysian vehicles. Only those who are in the know are aware that the raise was planned and decided by the two countries officials way back in one of their private exchange as a means to increase tax revenues for both sides. On record, its a juvenile tit-for-tat exchange but off the record, both countries are laughing all the way to the bank. Dont be gullible.
