Malaysian 2 years Paid Internship Program-Food & Accommodation Provided by Employer!!! 1. Duration of internship – 2 years 2. Location of internship – 3 to 5 star hotels in Kuala Lumpur 3. Position – Front desk, Service, Kitchen and Housekeeping Crew 4. Profile of students – a. Gender - Male and female b. Age – Less than 30 years old c. English language proficiency – Basic communication English preferred d. Relevant education and work experience – Not required 5. Program Structure a. Study – One month English language study for those students with poor English otherwise they will proceed for internship 2 weeks after arrival. Students will be provided accommodation till they commence their internship. Meals will be on their own expense. b. Internship – 2 years under the following terms and conditions i. Stipend – RM1000 Minumum ii. Working hours – 44hrs @ 8 hours per day at 5.5 days per week iii. Overtime – Minimum; depends on employer and position iv. Tips – Depends on employer and position v. Accommodation – Provided by employer (Dormitory) vi. Working meals – Provided by employer vii. Transportation – Provided by employer viii. Air ticket – Not provided by employer ix. Annual leave – Depends on employer x. Insurance – Provided by employer xi. Medical leave and benefits – Depends on employer 6. Part time work – Students can take up part time work with other employers during their rest day 7. Visa – Student pass (2 years on yearly renewable basis) 8. Visa processing time – 2 weeks 9. Certificate award – Diploma in Hotel Management at end of 2 years 10. Program fee – RM 8000 to be paid as follows a. On application – RM2500 (Non-refundable) b.
